I’ve seen this tag everywhere on WordPress so I thought I’d go ahead and take the plunge rather than mope about like I have been, here goes!
1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
cheapest: I got several Wet n Wild things for free via couponing/CVS extrabucks in January, and they’re already dirt cheap. Several lippies, the rose champagne highlight, and the comfort zone palette. All free. 🙂 But I also have a number of e.l.f. $1 and $3 brushes for eyes/face that I use all of the time. And cotton balls. Those are cheap.
most expensive: hm… Urban Decay Naked3 Palette? That was about $50 but I’ve been using the hell out of it and I wanted it for months before I took the plunge! I have a very expensive (full sized) Hermes perfume that you’d have to pry from my cold, dead hands before I gave it up, as well. Not sure if that counts as a beauty product, but it was pricey!!
2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Eye shadow primers. They make shadow last so well and look so vivid but they make blending so much harder!!! I think I’ve found one that is not so cement-like though (by Sonia Kashuk).
3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
There’s a Too Faced plumping lip gloss that is so minty and fresh tasting and it’s on my mouth anyway so… lick. I’d also be able to eat any Lush bath product in a perfect world. They smell so good!!
4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
Brightening eye shadow on the inner corners. I always forget. But when I don’t forget I am so delighted with how it turns out. I really should tie a ribbon around my finger for that one.
5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
Lipstick!! Anything dark and vampy or bright or so nude it’s shocking or RED. I don’t leave the house without something on my lips.
6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
Smile, laugh, eyes, laugh lines. Ankles in a suit. I’m pretty sure that’s a fetish. Not the feet though, just the ankles if he’s wearing nice socks. Maybe it’s the socks I’m into.
7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
Jewelry! And I am so lucky because my lover gifted me a beautiful prasiolite necklace for Christmas and a Virginia Woolf necklace for Valentine’s Day. I was wearing the prasiolite (green amethyst) daily but now I have to choose!!
So now that I’ve slept all day and felt glum about my surgery pain and job loss, after doing that survey I feel a little spoiled with my makeup obsession. So I’m going to get all dolled up with it and use some of the Lush products I bought yesterday, as well.
I hope all of you are doing well.
